This payment option will be active for Binance and Varus app users across all major Ukrainian cities including the capital Kyiv, Dnipro, Kamianske, Kryvyi Rih, Zaporizhzhia, Brovary, Nikopol, Vyshhorod, and Pavlograd.
To enjoy instant cryptocurrency payments and lightning-fast deliveries, crypto owners need to download and install the Binance app on their iOS or Android device and pay through the Binance Pay wallet.
Next, shoppers can just hop on the Varus website, add goods to their carts and purchase using digital coins.
However, Varus is not the first retail brand to integrate cryptocurrency as a payment solution. Ukrainian chain of stores for home appliances and electronics, Foxtrot was observed to have introduced Binance Pay as a payment method earlier in 2022.
In addition, In August, Whitepay also added cryptocurrency as a payment method for all products delivered by major technology stores in Ukraine. Retail stores like Tehnoezh and Stylus are accepting crypto payments from customers via the payment platform launched by the European crypto exchange, Whitebit.
Over the years, Ukraine has aggressively adopted cryptocurrency in the country and placed regulations around the same for its citizens. In fact, amidst the current military dispute with Russia, Binance has risen as a popular choice to accept donations and raise funds globally.
