10 Best Easter Eggs Hidden In Red Dead Redemption 2

This seems nearly impossible seeing as we’re almost at the 10-year anniversary of the game’s announcement, but I feel fairly positive Final Fantasy XV might at least launch in Japan by the time 2015 ends. The fact that we’re getting a gameplay demo in 2015, the large amount of gameplay trailers released in 2014, and the fact that the English voice-overs are already done is enough evidence to suggest we’ll be playing Final Fantasy XV sooner than later.

East of McFarlane’s Ranch, John will come across a man making a bouquet for his wife. He isn’t satisfied with what he can find locally, but wonders if John can go and find some flowers for his dear wife. Being John Marston, the infamous badass who is oft spotted collecting flowers in the wilderness like a madman, he agrees, and you set

Something I liked about E3 2014 is the strong focus the big 3 had on gamers. Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo all focused on delivering the games that we, the gamers, want to play. Aside from Sony getting a little sidetracked, E3 2014 ended up being one of the better shows in years. Let’s keep that up going into E3 2015.

The marketing for a game starts the second it is announced. The job of marketing is to not only increase awareness of a title, but maintain hype through the game’s release. Shorter marketing cycles are typically more effective because they have a tighter focus. Red Dead Redemption 2 ’s marketing started in late 2016. While it is intermittent, this incredibly long cycle will likely see the game fall off some people’s radar for months before they suddenly remember that it exists. Rockstar is no stranger to long marketing cycles, but that doesn’t change the fact that it could still negatively impact the game’s sales. Red Dead simply isn’t as well known as GTA , so it needs every push it can get to take the gaming world by storm once ag

When it was first announced that GTA V would have three player characters, it seemed like a bit more of a gimmick to deviate from its previous games than a truly enhanced gameplay experience. But those thoughts were quickly silenced once players saw how much fun having multiple characters could be. Having the freedom to play with different special abilities, personalities, and intersecting stories makes this feature an absolute shoo-in for Red Dead Redemption 2 . Judging from Rockstar’s pattern of releasing larger, and larger sandbox maps with each new title, having multiple characters scattered across the map could make for a much easier and more natural way of exploring it, than simply fast traveling. The vast lands could unfold as the player uses each character from the regions of the different regions of the

One of the more gritty locations in Red Dead Redemption 2 is called the Meteor House. Dubbed so, because everybody inside the house appears to have been utterly disemboweled by a stray meteor. If you’ve got a mind to check out the scene, you can head just West of Brandywine Drop, keeping South of the Abandoned Trading P

The sense of discovery that video games offer is a feeling almost unmatched by any other form of entertainment. Deep down, you know that a developer went out of their way to create a mystery for the player to solve, or to put in a cool reference to another work of art. But in the heat of the moment, in the thrill of the chase, you feel like a detective pulling at a thread, ready to unveil whatever may be behind the curtain. There are few developers better at eliciting this feeling than Rockstar , www.openworldpilot.com and the Easter Eggs in Red Dead Redemption 2 certainly keep their reputation alive. Here’s what we’ve found so far in Red Dead Redemptio

Another spooky location can be found North of the Grizzlies, just above the “N” in Ambarino. Searching the woods around there reveals an apparently abandoned shelter that appears to have previously housed a witch. One that has not been abandoned for too long, either, because inside is a seemingly fresh cauldron full of some sort of bubbling liquid. If you’re capable of mustering the courage required to take a swig, you’ll black out and reawaken a distance away from the cauld

Undead Nightmare not only bought along a whole new storyline for the player to beat, but changed the mechanics of the game to give an entirely different and addictively fun set of challenges to survive. Not taking themselves too seriously, Rockstar took the fairly solemn story of John Marston and his family and turned it on its head, making it a zombie themed nightmare. By changing the gameplay and how danger occurred, Rockstar gave their game incredible replay value. Due to its popularity, Rockstar would be remiss if they didn’t include a game changing DLC like this one. Whether they want to go back to the living dead, or go a different route, like an alien invasion, it will surely add hours of more fun to their g

The hardcore mode in Red Dead Redemption left a lot to be desired. Instead of shifting the gameplay focus to survivalist activities, (hunting, finding shelter) it mostly just made it harder to kill enemies . A mode that would force a player to stock up his saddle with food or be prepared to hunt or steal for a long journey across the map would make for the ultimate Western experience. Simply trying to stay alive for a couple of days should be a challenge as plays fend themselves off from bandits, starvation, bobcats, and the weather. It would also make beating the game in Hardcore mode that much more rewarding. While it may come off a bit too “simulator” to some, it would offer versatile game play and better replay va
