Armour is an important component of Baldur’s Gate 3. Specifically, you can outfit your character with headwear often referred to as Helmets that sometimes provide specific protections or abilities alongside boosting stats. The Oath of Devotion is the best one to start with as it grants many useful combat-oriented, always-prepared spells. Just remember to keep to your Oath, and you won’t turn into an Oathbreaker – the fourth, hidden subclass for Paladins.
Astarion : Best suited for the Thief subclass, Astarion lets you access hidden, locked areas more easily and is capable of setting up complex combat strategies without attracting attention with Stealth.
In Baldur’s Gate 3 , Paladin builds can be enhanced further with the use of specific consumables. Because of their Oath, Paladins tend to create moments of positive Inspiration more often than other classes – players are basically forced to roleplay a good guy, after all, as mandated by the class’s three Oath Vampire ascension choices.
Absolute Bane: When the wearer hits a creature with a weapon attack, it receives a 1d4 penalty to Attack Rolls and Saving Throws. The same penalty applies to anyone using these gloves without bearing the Absolute’s brand.
