Choosing the Fighter multiclass in Baldur’s Gate 3 is a go-to for many looking to multiclass because, with two levels in Fighter, players unlock the Action Surge ability. With a bonus action, a character can use Action Surge to gain a second action that turn.

Monks who follow the Way of Shadow subclass will find themselves more easily able to pull off stealthy maneuvers and benefit from sticking to the shadows and out of sight. It’s something between a melee and a ranged caster class, with lots of variety – now that the full release of Baldur’s Gate 3 is here, fans are starting to understand just how strong this class can be.
If you are dead set on including a character in your party, simply talk to Withers to respec them to one of the optimal Ranger companion classes listed above. This way, you won’t miss out on that character’s questline, and you won’t have to suffer from an improperly balanced party.
Conjure a flaming scimitar in your hand that deals 3d6 Fire damage and sheds bright light in a 3m radius and dim light in a 6m radius. The blade can be unequipped and equipped again, but has to stay on the spellcaster’s person.

Lae’Zel : Best suited for the Battle Master subclass, Lae’Zel can almost singlehandedly handle your front line, drawing attention from enemies and able to withstand attacks better than some other classes.

Touch a creature to grant it protection against poisonious influences. You neutralise all poisons affecting it, grant it Advantage on Saving Throws against being Poisoned, and grant it Resistance to Poison damage.
Though there aren’t a lot of choices to make as a Monk, BG3 still provides the Way of Shadow subclass with plenty of new abilities and skills – they are just granted automatically for being a Way of Shadow Monk, rather than offered as a choice like some other classes.
Karlach : Best suited for the Berserker subclass, Karlach is capable of dealing some of the most consistent, highest-hitting melee attacks on her own, and with two supports you won’t be at a loss for HP or dispels.
