Once Yuanwu has the proper weapons, echoes, and teams all set up, you are golden to use him in your teams. Of course, he’ll need levels in everything, but you will also want to look into upgrading his normal abilities too. These will cost some resources found in forgery challenges as well as some just found from exploring the world. Upgraded skills don’t add a ton to his numbers at first, but they will slowly start to add up and really make him hit harder, especially if you are using his weapons that will scale with his defense. After you’ve gotten him set up you’ll have a very strong character to add to your team that will support heavy hitters for a long time.
For the last team slot you are going to need or wish to have a healer, Verina or Baizhi will be your best bet for healing in general. While Jianxin can be built to do some minor healing, these two will provide buffs and amazing healing in general. Verine will buff the entire team with her outro skill and her Resonance Liberation will apply healing when damaging an enemy, even when she has been switched out for another character. Baizhi’s Resonance Liberation will also heal the entire team while also granting the next character to switch into combat, an entity that will follow and damage nearby enemies.

If the 5-star weapons aren’t available to you yet, you’ve still got some decent 4-star options for Changli. The Commando of Conviction 4-star is one of the better choices here, especially if you’ve gotten it ranked up via fusing it with the extra versions you may have already gotten. Commando of Conviction is fairly simple in what it does for Changli. When her Intro Skill has been used, her Attack will increase by 30% for 15 seconds . Even though it’s a fairly simple weapon, as long as you can build up some quick Concerto Energy you’ll be able to utilize this buff often.
When looking for a support character, you will want to stick with Verina or Baizhi. Both apply similar buffs to the party and Baizhi is a free character that everyone will receive from playing the game. The only downside with Baizhi is that her buffs will only apply to the next character you swap her in for, while Verina will buff everyone on the team. Both are very viable options and Baizhi is absolutely viable if you don’t have Verina yet.
There are a few really nice weapon options for Yuanwu, the first of which will be a relatively easy 5-star weapon to obtain. The Abyss Surges 5-star is a solid choice for you to get into Yuanwu’s hands. These gauntlets will increase Energy Regen by 12.8% and when Yuanwu hits an enemy with his Resonance Skill, his Basic Attack will increase by 10% . This effect will last for 8 seconds and when hitting enemies with his Basic Attack, his Resonance Skill gains a 10% bonus that will also last for 8 seconds . This is a solid option to make sure that Yuanwu gets some good Energy Regen while also receiving overall good damage buffs on top of it all.
When using Chixia you’ll have a couple of options for Sonata Effects to choose from. They can be mixed and Galbrena Kit Analysis matched as well, if you feel like that’ll be the best bet for your playstyle. But you’ll most likely wish to stick with the Molten Rift Sonata Effect. Molten Rift will increase Fusion damage by 10% with 2 echoes, and with a set of 5, Chixia’s Resonance Skill will trigger a Fusion Damage increase of 30% for 15 seconds . The second option is to go for Lingering Tunes echoes. This will increase the base attack for the most part. With 2 Lingering Tunes echoes, Chixia’s attack will increase by 10% and with the set of 5 her attack will increase by 5% for every 1.5 seconds while on the field . This can stack up to 4 times and her Outro Skill damage increases by 60% .

When considering some solid team compositions for Changli, you’ll really want to look at bringing Yinlin with her if you’ve gotten her. Changli works well with Jinhsi as well, but her synergy with Yinlin is on another level. Yinlin is really special in how quickly she gains energy and burns through her skills in her burst phase. On top of this, both characters can buff each other to deal even more damage. Yinlin is very versatile and quite possibly your best partner for Changli.
