Zilliqa Announces a Strategic Investment in XCADEMY to Enable a Blockchain-Powered Influencer Economy

Zilliqa, the high-performance, high-security blockchain platform, announced a strategic investment in XCADEMY, the world’s first online and mobile YouTube academy. Through this long-term partnership, Zilliqa and XCADEMY will create a blockchain-based influencer economy, allowing content creators to better monetise their content and incentivise user engagement through tokenisation.

By leveraging Zilliqa’s smart contract technology, XCADEMY will enable the creation of a token economy by allowing content creators to launch their own native token on the Zilliqa blockchain. Through this, influencers will be able to seamlessly reward and incentivise their viewers directly on YouTube at video playback and during engagement events.
